Middle East Outlook – What is next for the Middle East?
This month has been a very interesting month in regards to power and authority in the Middle East. The battle in the Middle East and surrounding area is not a new one, although we have only recently started to see and hear of preventative action. We have seen dictators in the Middle East and the East in general ruling for many years – in many cases decades (all gone un-noticed, or at least unpublicized). 
The question one should ask themselves is why? Why are things now so bad in these places, when these things have been going on for years? I don’t think anyone can really answer this question and provide a reasonable solution as to why for many years these things were allowed to happen unchecked. This leads me to believe and I am sure many others that perhaps there are ulterior motives. Perhaps money, perhaps a previous deal has expired, I don’t know but anyone with reasonable sense should come to some sort of similar conclusions. What we need to remember is this is not the first outbreak in the Eastern world. We came across Egypt & Libya not long ago – both nations which were headed by dictators for longer than twenty years. These were men the Western world made deals with, invested in but are the same people who after some time, these agreements must have elapsed.
What Next For The Middle East?
I predict more and more after the likeness of Egypt & Libya, maybe things will go back to Africa, to places such as Zimbabwe but who knows? Syria seems to be a more trying situation than any of the other two countries above. Countries are more reluctant it seems to make a move. David Cameron’s government just told him no, Obama has looked like a man without power in the US And France seem to be back-pedalling. I did hear recently that it may be down to investments but I cannot speak too much about this because I have not looked into it as of yet.
What is definitely evident is the West are cleaning up dictators and I’m sure making hefty gains by doing so. The backlash is however that who is going to power in place of these dictators are people who seem like those they took out of power. Perhaps new deals have been made and the clock has restarted.

Family Fellowship
The most important fellowship there is after self-fellowship is family fellowship. I think this is especially the case if you refer to families with young children. Young children need to be nurtured in the things of God. Ask yourself the question, what are the things your young children hear most in the day, is it the audio Bible or everyday TV? What are you talking about around your children, things of God or things of the flesh? These are things daily which shape your child’s growth.
As a minister, a minister’s first calling is to that of his household. No man can minister to the church, if he has not first ministered/ministering to his household. He is not even qualified to minister to the church, if he can’t rule his house properly. One of the ways he needs to rule is through education. Of his wife and of his children. Then when he can consistently do this and show that he can teach and order a family, he is able to give education to the bigger family which is the church.
Family fellowship is so vital, not just for the young children but for the adults. Never forget your place in structure. Adults need children and children need adults. When was the last time you played a Bible game, listened to preaching or merely read the Bible together with your family? If it wasn’t recently, there is a serious problem. Think of children like treasures, treasure given by God which are potentially corruptible. We can give God back his children in like manner as treasure, or we can allow the world to damage and corrupt our children and make them worthless. I feel more than indebted to God for my child due to the manner I had my child, and for this reason, I don’t want to allow my child to become worthless. I want to raise my daughter in the way I want her to become, teaching her to behave and act as a daughter of the King of Kings. I should raise and teach my daughter to be royalty.
Family fellowship is vital to me, even more so due to the fact I do not go to a church building. Fellowship with family and friends is essential. Bible teaching, praying, devotion, action, these are but a few things we need to learn and show to our children consistently. If we allow other things to take precedence and authority, we may lose our children forever.
What To Do When Discouraged And Feeling Useless
This article is not going to highlight every way in which one can act, however it is a general article about what to do. Sometimes after exerting much energy and not necessarily seeing the fruit I want, I get frustrated and down and ask myself what the problem is. It’s easy to get down and stop moving forward but what I have found in these times of trouble, is by going forward I am succeeding. Action is the answer to many problems. If you feel you have worked really hard and not received your desired goal, work harder, work different.
I was talking to a friend recently and I was telling them about business. What I was saying is, when my business is not acting in the way I want it to, I act. I may be discouraged that the business is not making the money I projected but I know sitting around moping is not going to work, sitting around in distress will not bring more revenue. What I told them was I sometimes sit around and say to myself “I want more revenue.” What I then do is start acting. I either act harder at my work or I act differently. If what I am doing is not making me the revenue, it is either because I am not working hard enough at what I am doing or I am working at the wrong thing. I act…
Let me talk to you more about action because action is the key, both mentally and physically. ACTION FIRSTLY IS GUARANTEED. Someone once said “If you don’t build your dreams, someone will hire you to build theirs.” Whether you will work for yourself or work for someone else. Those feelings you have at times at your job “I wish I didn’t have to be here all the time.” There are many thoughts people have, you all know who have had these thoughts know what they are. I’m here to tell you, you may have these thoughts running your own business, the only difference is there is no imposed cap on how long you can work or how much money you can make. Running your own business allows you to work much less time and make much more money but it takes action and it takes hard work. You will start to find that working on a personal business is more fulfilling, more lucrative, has the potential to benefit your surroundings more.
Don’t just jump into a business headless. Learn from previous business owners and decide what to take from failures and success stories. Socrates said “Employ your time in improving yourself by other men’s writings so that you shall come easily by what others have laboured for.” Read their books, listen to their audio, contact them, do the right things to learn what you need. We are what we practice, Aristotle said “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” If we continually learn from successful business men and women, what do you think we should become? I want to be successful so I read successful books, I listen to successful people speak. I surround myself with what I want to become. In times of hardship, I do what I know best and that is what I do every day, take one step closer to my completed plan.
Three Questions You Need to Answer In Business
The fundamental component of business is money. That is business in a nut-shell, income opposed to outcome. For people who say business is nothing to do with money, they’re more than likely talking about charity. Most businesses are based on money, this doesn’t mean they are hungry for money or deceitful to make money but service usually commands money. What we look at today are three questions you should be able to answer in your business.
1 How will I get paid?
If you are providing a service and you are open for business, you’re more likely than not expecting money for your service. This is probably the most important question in business because every business owner wants to now how they will get paid. If you don’t know how you will be paid or have not setup a means of payment you have a serious problem. You must rectify this issue immediately. I remember when I started a business, one of the first things God told me to do was setup a bank account. I wavered and didn’t do it early on. Months down the line I asked God why I hadn’t made any sales and just had interest. God replied to me “how can you be paid with nowhere to take payment?” I was shocked by the simplicity of his answer but it made sense. I then hastened to open a bank account and upon doing this, I saw the drastic change. People had now begun showing more interest, talking about how they could pay me etc. Learning how you will be paid is essential and also relaxes the mind.
2 How much will I get paid?
Knowing how much you will get paid is vital, it outlines how many products you need to sell to make money, how many times your service is required before you make money, it may also outline what direction you go in when working. It also allows you to see into the future and plan how you may reach certain financial targets. If you know how much you are going to be paid in advance, you will know if you need many sales or few. This could come down to a cheap product or a high-value product. I remember listening to an audio of Brian Tracy speaking and he something valuable to me about marketing. He was discussing the quickest way to get to a target. He merely said, if you want to sell a million copies of anything, the easiest way to do so is sell 1,000,000 to one person. It makes sense! Find someone or something who has one million people and sell to them.
3 Is there a way I can get paid more than once?
The only thing better than money being paid on a one-off basis is recurring payment, money being paid continuously. Is there a way in your business you can be paid more than once? Either you provide a service which keeps your customers coming back, or your service is more than a one time payment. Look at phone companies for example, they charge a monthly fee and this guarantees them money every month, that is a comfortable feeling and place to be in. TV subscription providers, Educational institutes, you name it. There are many companies out there benefiting from this setup. It is the most secure feeling for a business to know money is as close to guaranteed as it can be the next month.

How To Start A Business
In today’s daily tip we are going to look at starting a business. I will discuss six simple things which can have you setup in no time whatsoever. Some people may have done or know these three things already and it just comes down to action. Many of you want to start businesses but think it is much harder than it really is. I am here to tell you (having multiple businesses) starting a business is really easy. For those of you who rely on one stream of income, a side business may be the way forward for you. It will obviously give you more cash and allow you to lighten the load and dependence on your one stream.
Time is not a valid excuse, the majority of the long-hour-working-force spend a maximum of 40 hours a week working their job, there are still 128 hours in the week to do work. You spend less than a 1/3 of your weekly time working on someone else’s dream, spend at least 40 hours (At Least) working on your own dream.
Money is not an excuse because you don’t need that much money to start many businesses. I have started a business which cost me less than £100 so don’t use money as an excuse. Which also confounds this is the fact that most people go out a few times a week and spend £100-£200 easily over the weekend on leisure, that can be as much as £800 a month or as low as £400 a month. This is more than enough to start a business and be running sufficiently, it really comes down to your creativity. You may feel the figures are huge and you could never do that, start adding up and you may shock yourself.
So let us start with the three things I spoke about earlier. How to start a business?
1. You need a product or service
Either you will be selling a product to someone or selling a service, if you can’t think of anything, sell yourself which is free to do. I’m not talking about anything X-rated. You can teach people something you know, you could write, read, speak etc. At a bare minimum you can sell yourself and you come free of charge. You can however charge as much as you please for your services. There are loads of products out their, if you do not want to be original, there is no harm in buying a product and selling it on.
2. You need customers
Customers are what keep the business running, you could call it demand, which comes mainly in the form of customers. We all have friends, family and people who trust us. If you are doing something worthwhile and not just for gain, they will gladly invest in your business, tell others and the chain of marketing is underway. The problem you are solving with your service or product should attract people in itself. Customers are all over the world, there are seven billion of them out there.
3. How are you getting paid?
Are your customers paying you in cash or do you need card payments? If someone is taking cash, you need a physical person to take it in many cases, with a payment gateway online, you don’t need anyone to take money, it is automatic. This also means your shop is open 24/7 and open to the whole world.
If you can sort these three things out, you are ready and are a business. It is simple, your business solution is simple. It was Socrates who said “The correct solution to any problem is usually the simple solution.” Things are usually simpler than we make them but we never find out until we start taking action.
