The Egyptian mindset…

The children of Israel were a much stronger people than the Egyptians. Scripture tells us and shows us this in many different ways. What I have seen in my twenty-one years on Earth and what I have now concluded with, is many people are weak. Many people choose to stop, many people choose to allow someone else to defeat them. The children of Israel were growing exceedingly and the king was worried about this. If Israel decided at any time they would go to war, they could have easily done so. The king of the time thought this in his heart and started making plans to suppress them. If the children of Israel wanted to do this I believe they would have but they did not. Even after leaving from years of oppression, they did not lay one finger of harm on them.

The Egyptians were scared of Israel and they had done nothing of any real nature except multiply. They were growing because God was blessing them for obeying his commandments. We then see the Egyptian midwives commanded to kill the men-child. This was something the women declined for two reasons…One, they feared God, Secondly they proclaimed “the Hebrew are not like our women.” What they were in fact saying is these women are stronger than we and do not need the help Egyptian women needed. How many of us today are dependant on others? It is an Egyptian mind-set in that regard. These women clearly limited themselves, instead of commanding that they can be just as good as Hebrew women when carrying, they accepted inferiority and lived according.

I watched a programme I had recorded a few months ago and was reminded of a man who had a business idea and ran with it. He did not stay fearful and allow someone else to be the man he was today, he excelled and followed out his plan. I cast my mind back to the words God spoke to a prophet… “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” The one who would read would run! Not go and sit down, not go and tell another but run when read. Sitting on your hands in life is deadly, waiting for something to appear when we are the people who can act out.
Two men stood by in white apparel as the Lord ascended and what did they say to the onlookers? “Why stand ye here gazing into Heaven?” These men had other things to do, they could have been standing in awe for the whole day, week or month but they had other things to do. God had put other things on their hearts. Immediately after leaving and going back to hold onto the promise of the Holy Ghost, he came upon them when they were in one accord.
We do not need to wait for someone to come and tell us, we need to act when we know the time is right. No-one will do it for you so don’t expect it.

Don’t expect

Don’t expect people to accept. I was listening to a conversation yesterday between a preacher and a well-known rapper. I say well-known because that is what the rapper stated, as I do not know him or listen to music, I can’t say.

Firstly the man was angry because the preacher had called him out recently over a recent song. The preacher started by claiming he should repent and be born again. The conversation went deeper and was much hotter than this but it got to a point where this rapper began to say he doesn’t want to hear anything he has to say.
At this point. I was like “ok man stop” this guy is clearly annoyed with you and does not want to hear you. I agreed and believed what the preacher was saying about repentance etc but it felt to me like the man was doing more damage than repair.

It’s not my place in my opinion to say this preacher was right or wrong, the emphasis for me was on the man not willing to accept. When we start thinking we as people gather children into the kingdom, we mess up. God is always the one that brigs increase.

We do actions but we must never come into something expecting to change someone ourselves. God was the person that ace us the power so we shouldn’t boast in something that was given to us. We must always give glory to him for allowing us to be a vessel.

God doesn’t need to talk all the time

When I consult with God and seek his counsel, God could reply tome instantly or take time to respond. When he does finally counsel me, what I have is a piece of information which I can run with. Sort of like when d told Habakkuk to write the vision and make it plain. Those who would run by and see would know exactly what the vision meant. This was information through a vision which instructed many people. The point of this short article is to outline that through scripture I have learned that God can say something this year and it can be enough for you to act on until next year. God could give you a task, instructions, visions or dreams. Anything or anyway God chose to deliver his message. Using God’s instructions lasts long as you may need them to.

Sometimes dying is the best option

I’ve never been one to promote suicide, euthanasia or anything alike. This article has nothing to do with the above. This article has nothing to do with those things, and all to do with letting things go. Relinquishing the strongholds that are holding you back. Where I want to be is somewhere I can live for ever. I do not want to stay in a weak, devolving body. To release myself from this limited body I have to die daily. I have to let the flesh die and swim deep in the water. I have to submit my body to the ground and allow the Spirit to move out of the water and into life. I don’t want to become complacent, I don’t want to remain stagnant. You can see yourself and not realise later because that’s how the message has to be received. David had the experience with the prophet Nathan. David changed.  I’m not David, neither do I want to be David but I do not want to see myself complacent and just join in or watch. I want to see myself and submit my flesh to the ground.

Sometimes dying is the best option

Celebrate

Daily Ministration

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

Let us all make a joyful noise for the Lord and all his goodness. Let us celebrate the years to date he has given us. When we forget to give thanks to the Lord for the goodness we receive, it is easy to become complacent. Throughout the Bible, as well as much celebration, we have many people who desired greatly to worship God. Countless close calls and many who crossed the finish line in flying colours.

The book of Psalms in my view is a book of celebration. A celebration by many people who had the mind to testify of goodness from above. God does so much to help us in life, he does so much, we find ourselves talking about him often. To have something so good and to not share it is abnormal. When we just find something new, we can’t wait to tell people (calling friends and family soon). Let us remember that the noise we make for Christ, shouldn’t be ordinary, for he wasn’t neither was what he did for/to you.

Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Why would we ever come to God less than happy with him? We may find ourselves venting to God about past issues but its ok, he knows!

Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

We didn’t arrive here by ourselves, neither did we create ourselves. Everything we have, has been given to us one way or another. Let us acknowledge the fact God is all-powerful and has the ability to change us at ease. Whether we say we want to praise God for what he does in our lives, let us at least praise him for what he done before we even knew anything. We are the sheep of his pasture, he is the great shepherd.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

I remind myself of the question wrote in of my books, if you  willingly fight against God, doesn’t that mean he’s real? If you know he’s real why not worship?

For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Everyday should be celebrate day with God, for he is the King and the redeemer.

Celebrate.
